Symptoms of mesothelioma vary depending on what part of the body is affected. Generally, people with the disease experience the following symptoms:
• Shortness of breath
• Unintended weight loss
• Lower back pain and pain in the side of the chest
• Swelling of the arms, neck and face
If a person has mesothelioma of the abdomen (peritoneal mesothelioma), some common symptoms include digestive tract issues (nausea, vomiting, constipation, stomach pain, etc.)
