ISIS has released a new online video, in which the terrorist organization threatened that any country that conducts airstrikes in Syria would be attacked similarly to the recent terrorist attacks in France. ISIS has already claimed responsibility for the French terrorist attacks which killed more than 130 people. The terrorist organization says that they plan to target Washington D.C. next.

The most recent threat from ISIS comes as CIA director John Brennan had recently warned that future attempts at violent behavior will undoubtedly be committed by ISIS. Indeed, the entire world is on high alert following the events in Paris and the threats by ISIS. Brennan has said that he hopes that the attacks will serve as a wake-up call for the rest of the world.

Brennan said, “I would anticipate that this is not the only operation that ISIS has in the pipeline.”

In the most recent ISIS film, an unnamed ISIS fighter said in Arabic, “We say to the states that take part in the crusader campaign that, by God, you will have a day God willing, like France’s and by God, as we struck France in the center of its abode in Paris, then we swear that we will strike America at its center in Washington.”

Another individual who subtitles identified as “Al Ghareeb the Algerian” said, “I say to the European countries that we are coming, coming with booby traps and explosives, coming with explosive belts and silencers and you will be unable to stop us because today we are much stronger than before.”

ISIS also made reference to the upcoming international discussions that are being held to try and put an end to the Syrian war. Another person who was called “Al Karrar” in the video stated, “We have decided to negotiate with you in the trenches and not in the hotels.”

The video was reportedly released by a faction of ISIS known as the “Wilayah Kirkuk”, which translates to “State of Kirkuk”. This faction currently controls a northern Iraqi city called Kirkuk.

In an earlier statement in which ISIS claimed responsibility for the French terrorist attacks, the terrorist organization said that it committed the terrorist attacks in revenge for insulting the Islamic Prophet Muhammad. ISIS was likely referring to the actions of a French cartoonist who unfavorably portrayed the prophet.
