The leader of the Al-Qaeda terrorist organization Ayman al-Zawahiri recently encouraged his followers to conduct attacks against the United States that are similar in nature to 9/11. The message from the terrorist was released in the form of an audio clip late on Sunday night.

The Al-Qaeda leader also offered his praise in regards to the recent series of stabbing attacks that have been conducted by Palestinians against Israelis.

The audio clip is 16 minutes in total length, and it was discovered on the deep web. The message has also been distributed across various social media websites. In the message, al-Zawahiri encouraged his followers to commit violent acts against the West.

He especially condemned the United States for its support of Israel.

Al-Zawahiri said in the clip, “Those who support Israel should pay in their blood and economy the price for supporting the crimes of Israel against Islam and Muslims.”

The terrorist also took the time to pay special tribute to the people responsible for the attacks on 9/11, as well as the attacks in Madrid, Bali, London and Paris.

The audio clip is titled “We Shall Unite To Liberate Jerusalem.”

Based on the philosophies of al-Zawahiri, Muslims must unite in order to establish a Caliphate, or uprising, so that they can form an Islamic state in Egypt and Levant. He also wants to “liberate” Palestine, and he says that today’s Muslims have been subject to “American-European-Russian-Alawite aggression.

Al-Zawahiri went on to encourage jihadist organizations worldwide to come together to stand against the “satanic alliance” that is attacking the religion of Islam and its followers.

This most recent audio statement is the first from al-Zawahiri in a few months. The terrorist leader has largely remained silent since August, when he offered his allegiance towards the new leader of the Taliban Mullah Akhtar. He also attacked ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi for starting a civil war within the Islamic community.

The recording from Sunday night marked the first time that al-Zawahiri made reference to the recent violence between the Israelis and the Palestinians.
