Two weeks ago, Khloe Kardashian revealed that she had broken up with boyfriend and basketball star James Harden. The two had been dating despite the fact that Khloe was still technically married to another basketball player, the retired Lamar Odom.
Little had been known about the breakup of Khloe and Harden, other than the fact that the two were no longer dating. But recently, Khloe has revealed more about the troubling situation.
According to Khloe, Harden hadn’t been the most faithful of boyfriends. That’s right, the Houston Rockets star had been cheating! Shame on you, James!
“You know, I just don’t want to put up with people that… you want to be monogamous, but then you don’t want to be monogamous,” Khloe said during her talk show Kocktails With Khloe.
Khloe said that originally told James that the two did not have to have a traditionally monogamous relationship. She knew that there would be temptation, given that the two live miles apart because of Harden’s basketball career. However, Harden insisted on a mutually monogamous relationship, and that’s what Khloe expected. When Harden couldn’t keep this promise, she kicked him to the curb.
Khloe added, “It’s long distance… I’ve always said we don’t need to be monogamous… He wanted that. He wanted to be committed, and then, wasn’t committed.”
While Harden hasn’t given his side of the story yet, it seems like he blew it. If he had just been honest about his intentions, the two would probably still be together.
As for Khloe, it appears that she is trying to rekindle her estranged relationship with Lamar Odom. However, it appears that there is still some work to be done before Khloe and Lamar can resume a happily married life.
