While Tyga might be famous for rapping about money and flaunting cash, the 26 year old actually has quite a few financial issues. Most recently, a 2013 G-Wagon owned by the rapper has been scheduled for repossession because of a failure to make regular payments.
However, the vehicle isn’t driven by Tyga; it is actually the ride of his 18 year old girlfriend Kylie Jenner. Needless to say, Tyga must be quite embarrassed that he can’t even afford to keep up on the payments for his girlfriend’s ride!
The history on the vehicle is actually rather interesting. Tyga originally gave the G-Waggon to his ex-girlfriend Blac Chyna. But after they broke up, Tyga had the vehicle repainted, and he regifted it to Jenner for her 18th birthday. Smooth move for giving your current girlfriend your ex-girlfriend’s old car!
Reports indicate that no payments have been made on the vehicle since at least October. There’s no doubt that Tyga is in a serious financial hole. It goes without saying that just because you rap and sing about money doesn’t mean you have any!
The repo company has actually been attempting to seize the car for the past month. However, they have been unable to take possession of the vehicle because it is being kept at Kylie’s house behind multiple security gates that the repo company hasn’t been allowed to enter.
Fortunately for Jenner, she has other vehicles of her own that she can use until her boyfriend can pony up some cash.
