June 1st kicks off the month long Pride 2021 celebrations for the LGBTQ+ community! Despite last year being drastically affected by the pandemic, we can expect a much more ‘normal’ Pride month! Here are events happening all around the country.
Summer is just around the corner, the sun is out and the world is reaching a new normal! After almost 15 months of COVID-19 we can finally rejoice and celebrate Pride 2021 the way it was meant to be celebrated.
We have a list of LGBTQ+ Pride events for the entire country. It’s time to wave your flag, start the summer and embrace your pride!
Pride 2021 Events Around The country
Coast-to-coast, the Pride celebrations are coming out in full affect! It is important to remember there are still many mask mandates and social distancing rules that we must follow. Happy Pride!
Seattle Pride – Virtual & In-Person
June 26 – June 27 2021 & October 9 -10
The June dates will offer virtual events and entertainment. However, once October rolls around you can expect the Seattle Pride Parade, Pride in the Park. Some of the highlights to expect are parties, BBQs, live performances, music, doggie drag costume contests and way more!
LA Pride – Virtual
June 10 – June 12
Thrive With Pride is the theme of LA Pride this year. Christopher Street West Association Inc will be hosting virtual concerts, events as well as volunteer opportunities this year! Special guest Charli XCX will be performing a free virtual concert presented by TikTok too!
NYC Pride – Virtual & In-Person
June 17 – June 27
NYC Pride is offering both online and in-person events this Pride month! With events that are kid friendly as well as 18+ celebrations. Start NYC Pride with a family movie night and finish it off with the March.
Miami Beach Pride – Virtual & In-Person
June 8, June 16 & June 27 and September 18-19
Attend a virtual event June 8th with the Faces of Pride. Get together in-person June16th and 27th for a Pride Bar Crawl or the Pa’ella Ladies Pool Party! Don’t worry if you can’t make it because the parade and festival will be in Miami in September!
Washington, D.C. – Virtual & In-Person
All Month Long!
Capital Pride Alliance has celebrations from June 1st to June 31st. In an effort to make everyone comfortable there is both virtual and in-person events! Don’t forget to check out the Colorful Pridemobile Parade on June 12th
Boston Pride – Virtual
All Month Long
Although the parade will be postponed until the fall, there are virtual events all month long. June 4-6th join the OUTLOUD Raising Voices kick off celebration, then on June 13th attend the Instagram, Express Your Pride Event!
Chicago, Pride In The Park – In-Person
June 26 and 27th
Pride in the Park Chicago has a 2 day Pride festival with a huge list of performers. It is an in-person event which requires either full vaccination with documentation or a negative code test from at most 3 days before the event. Expect to see Tiesto, Chaka Khan and beloved drag queen Alyssa Edwards!
Nashville Pride – In-person
September 18-19th
The Nashville Pride parade will take place in September in the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park! Big names will be performing over the weekend, Lizzo and TLC just to name a few!
San Francisco – in-Person & Virtual
June 11-12th
Join SF-Pride at Oracle Park for movie premiers, live and virtual events as well as special guest performances! The celebrations will be socially distanced and will most likely require masks.
Provincetown Pride– In-Person
June 4-7th
Celebrate Pride in Provincetown Massachusetts this year! Special activities are happening all over town! Check out the website for more information!
Dallas Pride– In-Person
June 4-5th
Tickets are on sale now for the outdoor in-person variety show for the LGBTQ+ community. Located at the Coliseum at Fair Park, this 2 day event is full of special activities and performances!
