Sicilian Mafia Wants To Show Its Good Side In Fight Against ISIS

The son of a major mafia boss in New York has warned the Islamic State that if they attack New York City, the will have to deal with the Sicilian mafia. The organized crime group clearly wants to protect the local residents who help to fund their illegal business practices.

The warning was issued by the son of an important figure in the Gambino mob organization, Giovanni Gambino. According to Gambino, the mafia is in a better position than agencies like the FBI and Homeland Security to protect New Yorkers from terrorists.

Gambino said, “They often act too late, or fail to see a complete picture of what’s happening due to a lack of human intelligence. The world is dangerous today, but people living in New York neighborhoods with Sicilian connections should feel safe. We make sure our friends and families are protected from extremists and terrorists, especially the brutal, psychopathic organization that calls itself the Islamic State.”

Also, Gambino stated that the mafia’s knowledge of individual movements within the city gives the group an upper hand over the intelligence agencies that have access to the latest security technology.

Gambino, who moved to Brooklyn in 1988, is currently trying to establish a career as a screenwriter in Hollywood. He was brought up in a mountainous area that overlooks the Italian island of Sicily. Gambino says that ISIS fears the Sicilian mafia, and the terrorist organization has refused to establish networks on the island. Sicily has not been the victim of any attacks from terrorists.

Overall, Gambino believes that the mafia can protect the people of New York, just like they do in their Italian homeland. He acknowledges that the mafia has its bad sides, but he insists that the mafia does good things as well. Gambino believes that fighting against ISIS would be a way to show people that the mafia is more than just a crime syndicate.

Gambino said, “The mafia has a bad reputation, but much of that’s undeserved. As with everything in life, there are good, bad and ugly parts. The rise of global terrorism gives the mafia a chance to show its good side.”
