These salsa wings are finger-lickin’ tasty and the recipes are beyond easy! This is the perfect addition to your dinner tonight!

Who doesn’t love wings? Whether your vegetarian and want cauliflower wings or you’re a carnivore and want some chicken, these salsa wings are for everyone.

Salsa Wings

We made this recipe for both the vegetarian and the meat-lover. Either way, our recipe of the day is tasty and easy!

Salsa Chicken Wings

First we have our Salsa chicken wings recipe for the meat lovers out there. It does require some slow cooking but overall, this recipe is very easy!

Prep Time: 15 – 20 minutes        Cook Time: 4-6 hours

Ingredients

Directions

  • Cut wings into 3 sections, discarding wing tips.
  • Combine all ingredients in a 2-quart slow cooker. Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours

Salsa Cauliflower Wings

This recipe is for the vegetarian who wants some wings too! It’s basically the same but no slow cooking!

Prep Time – 15 minutes        Cook Time – 20 – 30

Ingredients 

  • 1 Cauliflower head (chopped into wing size pieces)
  • 1 Cup of Flour (any kind – even gluten-free)
  • 1 cup water or milk (soy or oat for dairy-free)
  • Jar of Newmans Own Bandito Salsa – medium
  • 1/3 Cup Apple Juice
  • 1/4 cup prepared mustard
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Garlic Powder

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F
  • In a bowl mix the flour, water or milk and garlic powder – stir until combined
  • Coat cauliflower with the mixture and bake in shallow dish for 20-25 minutes
  • In a bowl mix the salsa, apple juice, mustard and brown sugar
  • Pour the salsa mixture over baked cauliflower for 5-10 minutes
